    Description
(No prerequisite.) This is an introductory course for students who want to start a new small business or who are involved in the ongoing management of an existing small business. It covers relevant functional areas such as marketing, finance and human resources, and topics unique to small businesses including family-owned businesses, franchises and applying for a Small Business Administration (SBA) loan. Students attain practical small business management experience by developing and designing their own small business and putting together a business plan. (CSU)
