    (No prerequisite. Advisory: BIOL 110.) This science-based course takes a field oriented approach to understanding the biology of birds, including bird form and function, anatomy, physiology, flight mechanics and migration. Visits to local wildlife refuges, lagoons, lakes, shorelines and forests to learn to identify and observe migrating shorebirds and raptors and wintering waterfowl.
