    (No prerequisite.) A comprehensive introduction to the native plants of Marin County, emphasizing identification, systematics, ecology, and natural history of Marin's vascular plants, with a brief overview of local bryophytes. Laboratory investigations include hands-on study and identification of live plant specimens. Field explorations aid ecological understanding of natural plant groupings, and provide added experience in identification. (CSU)
