This course covers electric and hybrid vehicle maintenance and design, emphasizing the principles behind component layout, battery rack and box design, construction details, and electrical wiring. The course introduces hands-on experience with these components, as well as AC and DC drive systems, types of batteries, selecting the right chassis, transmission adapter housing design, and handling chargers and controllers.
