- (Prerequisite: Art 176B.) An expanded interpretation of wheel-thrown ceramics, focusing on technical, aesthetic, and conceptual development. Topics include large-scale throwing, extensive altering, experimental forms, introduction to wheel-thrown sculpture, basic glaze formulation, kiln firing, mentoring of beginning students, and increased involvement in studio processes.
