Transfers ToCSUDescription(Prerequisite: Art 244.) This course continues the emphasis on personal expression and exploration, and on mastering technical challenges particular to the medium. Students further their commitment to their work, balancing technical skills in direct correlation to their work's content. Frequent critique sessions, lectures, and demonstrations examine paper selection and reaction to the medium, the tendency of watercolor to flow, and its qualities of transparency and evaporation.
