Transfers ToCSUDescription(Prerequisite: Art 145.) This course emphasizes personal expression as well as mastery of the technical challenges particular to the medium. Students are encouraged to further their commitment to their work, balancing technical skills in direct correlation to their work's content. Frequent critique sessions, lectures, and demonstrations examine paper selection and reaction to the medium, the tendency of watercolor to flow, and its qualities of transparency and evaporation.
