    Description
    (Advisory: Art 130 or concurrent enrollment.) This course introduces the concepts and techniques of basic fine art printmaking. Instruction and studio work include monotype (including stencil), relief (woodcut and linocut), and intaglio (drypoint, hardground/softground etching, and step-bite aquatint). Emphasis is on the fine arts approach to printmaking. Formal and individual critiques of work. (CSU/UC) AA/AS COM GE Area 3 (formerly AA/AS Area C, CSU Area C-1)
