Transfers ToCSUDescription(No prerequisite.) This course is designed to assist the student to understand basic metal fabrication techniques, basic troubleshooting techniques and introduce students to repair techniques for metal fabrication. The course includes a review of basic metal straightening fundamentals, tools and techniques, troubleshooting techniques and introduces students to basic repair techniques when creating items. Students will learn how to follow a professionally prepared blueprint or personal drawing. Students will be able to fabricate, form and fit various sheet metal components to meet industry standards.
