    (No prerequisite.) This course is designed to assist the student to understand basic metal fabrication techniques, basic troubleshooting techniques and introduce students to repair techniques for metal fabrication. The course includes a review of basic metal straightening fundamentals, tools and techniques, troubleshooting techniques and introduces students to basic repair techniques when creating items. Students will learn how to follow a professionally prepared blueprint or personal drawing. Students will be able to fabricate, form and fit various sheet metal components to meet industry standards.
