    Emphasizes principles of automotive brake systems, suspension systems, wheel balance, tire service suspension alignment and headlamp alignment, as well as tool and equipment safety, maintenance, troubleshooting procedures, proper use of alignment machines, balancing machines, brake lathes and other diagnostic equipment. Student will diagnose, disassemble, inspect, and rebuild suspension and brake systems, also emphasizes proper use of manuals and safe use of tools and equipment; course prepares student for CA State Brake and Lamp licensing exams.
