- Learn strategies for effective tutoring. Discover how to motivate, foster independence, stimulate active learning, and build confidence in the learner. Identify factors that affect student learning such as language and cultural differences; learn how to handle difficult tutoring situations, and to identify different learning styles. A three-hour service learning component will be required.
