    This course provides an introduction to securing operational technology (OT) and industrial control system (ICS) environments, focusing on the unique safety, reliability, and real-time requirements of cyber-physical systems. Students will examine OT architectures, threat vectors, vulnerabilities, and risk management practices while learning how to protect critical infrastructure assets through monitoring, incident response, and resilience strategies aligned with the CompTIA SecOT+ body of knowledge. Hands-on activities and case studies emphasize the interdependency between information technology (IT) and OT security and the role of cybersecurity professionals in maintaining safe and reliable operations. This course is intended for students pursuing careers in OT security, critical infrastructure protection, manufacturing, energy, transportation, and related sectors.
