Students learn how modern threats impact individuals, businesses, governments, and educational institutions while developing practical skills in digital privacy, network protection, mobile security, and AI-enabled threat awareness. Students will complete assignments that apply cyber hygiene practices to real-world scenarios, including securing personal devices, analyzing online privacy risks, hardening home networks, and evaluating emerging AI-enabled threats. Additional assignments require students to document risks, interpret basic security data, and communicate findings using skills aligned with the Information Security Analyst, Cyber Crime Analyst, and Incident and Intrusion Analyst.
