- In this introductory course, students study plants, plant habitats and ecosystems, plant growth, and the use of plants in agriculture. Topics include plant anatomy, physiology, cellular biology, metabolic processes, nutrient and mineral requirements, plant identification and taxonomy, and ecology. (A, CSU, UC, Cal-GETC)
