    Description
    Through a hands-on lab, the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) student analyze physical disabilities and develop intervention methods and strategies for remediation of and compensation for physical deficits and impairments. The student learns about use of assistive equipment and adaptive devices, wheelchair positioning, modifying environment, energy conservation, and work simplification.
