    Through a hands- on lab, the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) student analyzes psychosocial disabilities and develops intervention methods and strategies for remediation of and compensation for psychosocial deficits and impairments. The student learns about and administers assessments to determine psychosocial deficits, develops a treatment plan, and implements treatment plan through individual treatment session or group setting.
