Transfers ToCSUDescriptionStudents can be at various levels of ability but need to have at least some preliminary musical performance experience. This course prepares students with the skills and practical experience necessary for a career as a recording artist through the study, rehearsal, and public performance of music, with an emphasis on the development of skills needed to perform within a specialized ensemble. Students gain familiarity with live sound and recording studio environments as well as common performance practices including sound-checks, multiple takes, punch-ins and overdubs.
