- This course provides a survey of the political, social, and economic development of the United States since 1865 and the emergence of the U. S. as a world power. Students are also introduced to research methods, historiography, and divergent schools of historical interpretation. (A, CSU, UC, Cal-GETC) (C-ID HIST 140)
