Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course provides instruction and guided practice in peer tutoring strategies focusing on the needs of various types of student writers and different tutoring contexts. The course specifically addresses tutoring strategies for ESL students, students with learning disorders and learning style differences, students with discipline- specific writing needs, as well as for online sessions and classroom-embedded interactions. Specialized reader-based feedback and active learning strategies are practiced.
