    Description
    In the first course of a two-semester sequence of general biology for science majors, students apply the scientific process and study the chemistry of life, cellular structure, cellular metabolism-including photosynthesis, aerobic and anaerobic respiration, cellular communication, cellular division, and its regulation, Mendelian genetics, biotechnology, and evolution. This course is intended for Science Majors and pre-medical, pre-veterinarian, pre-dental, pre- optometry, and pre-pharmacy majors.
