- Classroom instruction and laboratory practice in joining metal by weld- ing. This course is designed to provide the safe and operational uses of the basic welding processes including oxy/fuel welding, oxy/fuel cutting, and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW). This course provides students with cutting and welding skills relevant to industry standards, welding certification requirements and general purposes. CSU
