    Description
    ESL 188 The study of the nature of deviance and the sociology of crime, with special attention to the sociological theories that underlay its defi- nition, as well as the social practices that are derived from them, including the criminal justice system. Analyses range from social psy- chological processes and the structure of social institutions (such as family, business, government, religion and law), to methods for mea- suring crime rates. UC/CSU
