    Description
    ESL 188 Exploration of LGBTQ+ film in two critical decades: the 1970s fol- lowing the Stonewall Uprising and the 1980s with the rise of the AIDS pandemic. LGBTQ+ representations in film will be explored through historical, artistic, critical, and political perspectives. LGBTQ+ inspired films such as, horror, documentaries, cult favorites, interna- tional, and experimental films will be explored to assess the social and cultural impacts on LGBTQ+ people and communities.
