This course offers extensive oral training in French and an emphasis on practical vocabulary and idioms rather than formal gram- mar and literature. It is open to all beginning students; however, it is not open to native speakers of French. It is recommended for students already enrolled in FREN 1 or FREN 1A wishing to get more oral prac- tice. CSU Recommended all beginning students and for students enrolled in FREN 1 or FREN 1A. Not Recommended for native speakers of French.
