Transfers ToCSUDescriptionESL 188 As we face what is increasingly known as the climate crisis, reevaluat- ing our relationship with nature is paramount. Our survival depends on it. This course focuses on literature as a medium for exploring humanity's relationship with nature and the environment, from indigenous perspectives, to nineteenth-century Romanticism, to Environmentalism, to contemporary Cli-fi, to early 21st-century youth-led climate justice movements. CSU Noncredit Course: ENGL 1000. Supervised Tutoring - English (50 hrs) A course designed to help faculty-referred students strengthen and refine college English skills and achieve course learning outcomes. Under faculty supervision, students utilize technology, receive tutor- ing, attend workshops, and engage in writing, reading, study skills, or research. Recommended for students concurrently enrolled in English and/or Humanities.
