- An update of the scientific evidence and performance of proce- dural skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adult, child, and infant patients, with an emphasis on improving cardiac arrest outcomes in all communities. Students must have a valid AHA BLS provider card. An updated American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification card will be issued to those who qualify. CSU
