    Description
    ESL 188 LGBT economic roles, including varying experiences of LGBT people with consideration of intersecting identities by class, race, gender, and ethnicity. This course introduces the principles of economic analysis in the study of the roles of LGBT people in cultures. Examines mar- kets and government policies for heteronormative biases; the role of homophobia and sexism in economic inequality and discrimination of LGBT people; public policy regarding LGBT people?s work and incomes.
