- Description
- ESL 188 Survey of late modern and contemporary art from 1945 to the pres- ent day. Art will be discussed and analyzed from critical and historical perspectives, formal visual elements of style, social/cultural contexts, and changing scholarship. Students will learn to identify pivotal artists, styles, and techniques and to critically analyze art within its cultural framework. UC/CSU
