    Description
    ESL 188 Provides a student with a comprehensive explanation of the history of psychoactive drug use; primarily in the United States and peripherally in the world. Students study a menu of psychoactive substances and explore the critical intersection between criminal organizations, crime, drug use, and the law. Students will analyze and evaluate public policy initiatives and laws targeting intervention, prevention strategies, and criminal justice community treatment programs. UC/CSU
