    Basic Course certificate issued from an accredited regional police academy or equivalent as determined by the division Dean or their appointee NOTE: equivalent training is not a guarantee state regulatory or licensing agencies will also grant equivalency. A San Francisco Police Academy course to develop knowledge and understanding of guidelines and procedures pursuant to booking and detention of prisoners at police holding facilities. CSU Students may petition to repeat this course to meet a legally mandated training requirement.
