- This course is the second part of the Intravenous (IV) and Blood Withdrawal Certification Course I which is intended for vocational and registered nursing students and graduates. It covers preparing the patient for IV therapy and blood withdrawal (BW), understanding risks, legal implications and complications. It also includes hands-on practice with direct and successful IV start and BW from human specimens. Open entry/exit. Course 2 of 2.
