This is an honors course. Extensive writing practice based upon reading culturally diverse fiction and non-fiction and related critical material. In addition, students are expected to work and participate at an honors level which includes strong critical thinking skills, thorough analysis of fiction and non-fiction texts, demonstration of presentation, and service learning in the community.
