Students in this course will learn concepts, tools, and techniques for online learning. Self-motivation theories will be examined. Through self-assessment, online interaction, and exploration of online learning strategies, students will develop an understanding of the skills needed to be successful when engaging in online instruction. Students will also learn an in-depth overview on how to navigate the course management system Canvas. Digital literacy skills will be covered in this class to help students develop the necessary strategies needed to evaluate effective and appropriate use of technology.
