Transfers ToCSUDescriptionBasic design exercises focus on buildings and their relationship to site and design process using simple programs, the influence of context, introducing sustainability and environmental constraints. Students analyze and incorporate environmental site factors, simple program requirements and basic knowledge of building materials. The design process of sustainability, climate and lighting issues are incorporated as integral components of an architectural design solution.
