    This course provides an introduction to radiographic pathology, with theories of disease causation and the pathophysiologic disorders that compromise health systems. Concepts related to disease and etiological considerations are studied, with emphasis on radiographic appearance of disease and impact on technical factors. Definitions and terminology, causes of disease, radiologic pathology and implications for practice are explored. Radiologic pathology is studied in depth, covering definitions, etiology, examples, sites, complications, prognosis, radiographic appearance, procedural and technical considerations and appropriate imaging modality.
