This course also teaches Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) to expand on programming from the prior class including timers, counters, math, move (MOV) and compare functions found in CompactLogix PLC controllers. Students program motor controllers / sequences, servo-robotic assembly systems, along with operations through adjusting sensors, writing programs, and developing logic to sequence operations of automatic controls. This course covers robotic safety, pendant navigation, jogging, tool center point, different move types, as well as creating programs for palletizing, and pick and place operations.
