    Description
This course provides a comprehensive study of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) science, focusing on spatial data management, including identification, acquisition, and assessment of vector and raster systems. Students will use scientific and computer-aided technical methods to analyze tabular and spatial data for geographic trends, patterns, and relationships, covering topics like scale, resolution, map projection, coordinate systems, georeferencing, GPS, and spatial analysis. Through practical applications, students will learn data structure, integration, and manipulation to support comprehensive spatial analysis and modeling with GIS.
