    Prerequisite
    Courses taught at the level of Introduction to College Composition with a grade of "C" or higher or "Pass" or equivalent or appropriate placement based on the college's multiple measures process with eligibility for ENGL C1000 or ENGL C1000E. This introductory level course will examine the nature of scientific reasoning and its relationship to technology, the development of modern technologies, and the impact of science and technology on society, personal life, and the environment. Major areas of philosophical inquiry will include metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, and aesthetics.
