This class is an application of MIDI, synthesizer programming, sampling, computer sequencing, notation, and computer programming. The course covers the history of electronic music and its evolution with respect to technology. Short compositions will be required of all students. Individual lab time is provided. This course is not open to students who have received credit in MUS 144.
