- This course examines films as they relate to sports history, the portrayal of sport in American society, and the contributions made by individuals representing various socio-economic, gender, and ethic backgrounds. The films' artistic portrayal of sport stories will explore the telling of a story while maintaining story integrity. The historical impact of sport in American culture through film will be studied.
