    Prerequisite
    FREN 201 or equivalent with a grade of Credit or "C" or higher. This is a course in reading of modern French. Emphasis is placed on oral and written expression. Grammar review is completed. FREN 202 aims to give the student a working knowledge of the language and to form the basis for advanced work in literature or science.
