This is an advanced ESL writing course designed to improve academic reading, writing, grammar, listening, and speaking skills of non-native English speakers in preparation for college classes. Students continue to use the writing process as a means of developing ideas into clear, correct, and effective writing. Critical reading, summarizing, and expository essay writing are taught with teaching methods that facilitate comprehension for English language learners.
