This course offers an intensive workshop atmosphere in which to write creative nonfiction. The course focuses on theories and techniques of writing creative nonfiction by examining models from various genres, such as memoir, personal essay, literary journalism, nature writing, and travel writing. Students present drafts of their own creative nonfiction for critique.
