    Prerequisite
    Courses taught at the level of Introduction to College Composition with a grade of "C" or higher or "Pass" or equivalent or appropriate placement based on the college's multiple measures process with eligibility for ENGL C1000 or ENGL C1000E. Literature of India is a survey course of selected representative literature of Asian Indian writers and their influence on Indian and American culture. The genres include the novel, the short story, poetry, drama, and autobiography. The course will examine the literature of Ancient, Medieval, Modern, and Post- Independence India.
