    Prerequisite
    Courses taught at the level of Introduction to College Composition with a grade of "C" or higher or "Pass" or equivalent or appropriate placement based on the college's multiple measures process with eligibility for ENGL C1000 or ENGL C1000E. This course studies the New Testament in English in translation as a literary document. Emphasis is on understanding the literary nature of the Bible through literary analysis, including the study of literary genres such as poetry, epistolary, narrative, drama and biography.
