    Recommendation: EDT 160 This course examines instructional design principles and learning experience development in environments where artificial intelligence (AI) tools are widely available. Students explore how AI changes curriculum design, assessment strategies, learner engagement, and instructor roles. Emphasis is placed on designing ethical, inclusive, and effective learning experiences that incorporate AI-assisted learning, human and AI collaboration, and responsible technology use. Students apply instructional design frameworks to create AI-informed lessons, modules, and learning activities while critically evaluating the pedagogical implications of AI in educational settings. This course builds on foundational AI literacy and introductory AI applications in education and is intended for students preparing to design instruction in educational, training, or professional learning environments.
