    Description
This course examines the ethical, legal, and societal implications of artificial intelligence across educational, corporate, nonprofit, and public-sector environments. Unlike applied design and integration courses, this course centers ethical reasoning, regulatory literacy, risk analysis, and governance structures that guide responsible AI use. Students analyze issues of algorithmic bias, data privacy, intellectual property, surveillance, accountability, and public policy. Emphasis is placed on critical evaluation of AI impacts and the development of institutional guidelines and governance documentation for responsible implementation. Transfer Credit: CSU
