    Prerequisite
    CIS 180 or CIS 182 or CIS 183 or equivalent with a grade of "C" or higher or "Pass." This course provides a detailed coverage of microcomputer architecture and instruction sets and how to use them to design and write assembly language programs. Topics will cover principles of assembly programming including functions, stacks, recursion, macros, input/output devices, precision arithmetic, and logic design. This course is not open to students with credit in CIS 230.
