    This course provides an overview of torts, including personal injury, product liability, and malpractice. The negligence cause of action will be analyzed, including the elements of negligence (duty, breach, causation, and damages as well as liability issues and defenses). Students will also examine intentional torts, including battery, assault, false imprisonment, intentional infliction of mental distress, trespass to chattel, trespass to property, and conversion.
