- This self-paced, workbook-based course, the second in a series of four increasingly challenging vocabulary improvement courses, helps students build vocabulary skills by learning important basic words. The course offers practice and reinforcement through various types of exercises including matching words with definitions, choosing the correct word in context, and properly identifying synonyms.
